TelePacific Expands Ethernet over Copper Network
TelePacific Communications has announced intentions of adding nearly 70 wiring centers by the end of Q1 2011, facilitating a significant expansion and availability of Ethernet over Copper (EoC) end user services. The additional network centers will bring the companies total to 120 facilities, more than doubling the current number. The expansion which includes Ethernet over DS1 and Ethernet over DS3 will make Ethernet based voice, data and internet access available in every market TelePacific serves. In addition to Ethernet over Copper, TelePacific also offers Ethernet transport enabling the CLEC to deliver services at speeds ranging from 1 Mbps up to 1 Gbps with highest performance, scalable bandwidth, at lower costs to improve overall productivity.
