Telx colocation and interconnection expands in Clifton New Jersey
Telx®, a leading colocation and network interconnection provider in strategic markets, announced that it is expanding capacities at its data center facility in Clifton New Jersey, serving surrounding metro New York and New Jersey areas. Responding to increased demand for interconnection and colocation, Telx® is adding a total of 15,000 square feet for financial institutions, media and content companies, service providers, cloud providers, pharmaceutical companies, legal, and Software as a Service (SaaS) providers.
The completed expansion at 100 Delawanna Ave. in Clifton yields new opportunities for Telx customers within a key business center, offering secure, direct access to SAS 70 Type II-compliant, raised-floor data center space with up to 200 Watts of power per square foot supporting customer high-availability networks and on-demand application requirements. Opened in 2009, this is the second expansion project for 100 Delawanna Ave, now boasting 50,000 total square feet and featuring an Uptime Institute-rated Tier 3+ design. The Clifton facility is also a prime connectivity hub for the Telx Ethernet Exchange, enabling organizations across vertical markets to enhance communications and scale service delivery, reduce complexity and cost associated with adding new customers in underserved geographical areas.
