T1

A copper based circuit, where DS1 signals are encoded and decoded, using a method of TDM or Time Division Multiplexing, and yielding fixed bandwidth capability of 1.54 Mbps, or megabits per second. T1 circuits may be bonded, yielding bandwidths of approximately 3.0 Mbps, 4.5 Mbps, 6.0 Mbps, 7.5 Mbps, 9.0 Mbps, 10.5 Mbps and 12.0 Mbps.
